Video Analysis of "JLS - She Makes Me Wanna"

                                                     The video "She makes me wanna" - JLS.

- JLSs music videos always consist of fasts pace   shots, advantageous lighting to make the silhouettes of the front men stand out. By doing this it makes them the focus of the shot and therefore, what the viewers will be watching. We can see in the screen shot on the left, this technique in action which they use multiple times throughout the video.

- This scene of the music video really showcases the different types of costumes JLS have. We have incorporated their style into our music video as we have implimented a host of different bright, bold costumes for each scene, so that we convey the genre and also the band themselves. There are many medium-shots in "She makes me wanna" which exemplifies the group members and the location
in the scene. In our video, we will also have
many medium shots so that we stick to the conventions of the genre
and aren't contradicting JLSs music videos too much.

- Fast, close-up shots were also apparent in the music video which are essential in conveying the genre. We have noticed a correlation between all the videos we've watched featuring JLS in which there are many close-ups and meduim-shots so these are the two shots we'll be focusing our attention on.


 - This scene illustrates that of a "party-scene" which we have focused on in our music video. The opening of our video will feature a scene that represents this sort of image which we believe will be very successful in conveying the genre and JLS themselves.
