This is most likely the image we will be using for the front cover of our "Digipak". This is the image that stood out to us the most, and we believe it portrays the conventional aspects of the "Hip-Hop" genre fantastically. We have researched both the genre, and JLS themselves and we have taken knowledgement from the fact that JLS tend not to focus so much on their background - they're more inclinded to have the main attention on them themselves. We believe we apply Mise-En-Scene correctly here into the genre as our costumes are that of a bright, bold out-look. Our posture and positioning is critical in portraying the genre and we believe we have the elements to create a successful front-cover for an album. The lighting is also another important aspect in this image - we have specifically made sure we, as group members, have all the attention on us - contrasted by the shadows on the sides of the image.
The image is simple, yet, very effective. We didn't need to incorporate a vast location and lots of flashing objects as we believe our concept works just as well. We may still tweak the image and adjust the lighting or contrast it a tad more to make it that much more effective - though I believe the image itself is very credible.
