Examples of JLS album covers

As a group we researched into the different types of album covers from "JLS". As we looked into them, we noticed a strong trend  - they all had many simularities and there wasn't a huge noticable change from each set of images. The big, bold iconic JLS logo is on everything we researched so we will use the same concept in our "Digi-Pack". We won't try and change the format of the title logo too much so that we conform to the genre and the artists themselves. The logo is iconic in the sense that we recognised the shinning-silver logo on everything we researched almost instantly before looking at anything else on the image. We didn't have to see the artists' names to recognise who was presented in front of us.

What these album covers above all have in common is the fact that the producer is focusing centrally on "JLS" themseleves. Each cover, especially the first two, has each of the members of the band on the centre of the image with the background of little or no importance. We will be using the ideas we have fathomed whilst looking at all sorts of different images to help create our own piece. We won't try and countertype the traditional "JLS" album cover as we as a group are trying to convey and put emphasis on JLS rather than trying to challenge what they stand for.
