Storyboard For Our Music Video (Second attempt)

Whilst deciding on the content of our video, we took in great consideration "Goodwin's Theory" so that we can create a successful piece. Our main concern and priority of the video was to establish a relationship with the lyrics and the visuals. The song by JLS focuses on a number of things such as girls and cars - we took this into consideration and have decided to include both of these in our video. As well as incorportating these and making sure there is such a relationship with the lyrics and visuals, we was going to include a subliminal story that focuses on the affection a female has on the male actors - however due to many complications as explained in a previous blog, we haven't been able to produce this and therefore, we've had to redesign our music video from scatch. Even without this, however, we have taken the initiative and we aim to include shots that will still greatly convey the genre even moreso than before. We aim to include intertexual references which is also one of our main focuses so that our audience can again identify with our video - this time, we will be creating  a scene which focuses on the pop group, "The Sugarbabes". The scene will involve one member almost ripping up a picture of them, as they try to emphasis that girls don't have to be like they're portrayed in photos - to actually be respected and recognised.

We will be using a number of "Close-up" shots to help create a representation and publicity of our actors. Shots will still quickly interchange with a dance routine with our actors dressed in bright, noticable clothing - and even more costumes will be involved this time around. We have researched many music videos from a range of artists to help enhance our video and believe have the foundation for a successful music video, despite major setbacks.
