Extreme long shot- rarely used in music videos, normally used as an establishing shot to set the tone on the location of the music video.
long shot- used in bands anf groups so you can see all band members. Also used for dance sequences so you can everything thats going on.
mid shot- used to show upper body, this can be used so the artist can sing and relate to the camera but can still move and dance at the same time.
close ups- close ups are the main shots in music videos as in create interaction with the audience.
